Good morning!
I hope that your Friday is off to a great start!
We have been hunkering down here since it was so chilly yesterday–okay, it was 26 degrees–but I am pretty wimpy after living in Kansas for almost 8 years.
I made this maple banana bread yesterday.
I’m not 100% sold. I was trying to find something sweet but also healthy for a post-lunch snack as my sweet tooth has kicked into high gear in the last 15 weeks, but I’m not sure that this is going to cut it. The bread has a strange aftertaste. Admittedly, I used skim milk rather than non-dairy, so the fault is likely on my end as Dreena’s recipes have never disappointed before.
Moving on, Lula and I went to Target yesterday and I found a few maternity tops!
A lot of Target’s winter gear is on clearance. I found three tops for about $28, I had a gift card for $25, so I was quite pleased. Lula was too.
That is about it from here. We don’t have plans for the weekend other than running and being lazy.
I hope your weekend is fantastic!

I love Target! I’m going to my first Moms Group this weekend so I’m excited for that. I also plan on taking our 17 month old son to our indoor swimming pool since it is going to be way too cold and windy for him to be outside. I also love Weekends1
Target always makes me happy! It has such a nice atmosphere. How exciting to join a Mom’s group- have a great time! Indoor swimming sounds like a wonderful activity and I’m sure that your little guy will love it!
I appreciated target before I had a child, but then baby E came along ad suddenly target had become my dream store where all things are possible lol. That top is cute
Haha! All things are possible…I love it! I also enjoyed Target pre-Lula but my gosh, I could browse in that place for a few hours nowadays and Lula seems to like it too! When I look around, it usually is moms and kids strolling around.
When Spring hits you might want to check out some Target tanks. They are called Long and Lean and in the Juniors department. They come in tons of fun colors and are only $8 regular price, but go on sale for $6 or even $5 every so often. I wore them to death when I was pregnant because they are so stretchy! They even went back to normal size after P was born so I can still wear them now.
Thanks for the heads up! I think I remember you mentioning those either on your blog or Twitter last year and was curious then. I am impressed that they don’t stretch out forever. And how can I beat that price, seriously? Thanks Joanna! Happy Monday!
I hope that you all had a wonderful relaxing weekend filled with nothing. Those are the best weekends
Love that top.
