Oh my, how this week has flown. Pa’s sister is in town so I have been mostly Twitter and blog-free. I must admit that it is somewhat freeing, but I am looking forward to writing more posts and blog readin’ next week.
One of the main reasons for her visit was catching Phish on Wednesday night in KC.

What? We were hippies back in the day. Ones that still showered, mind you.

Lula did not attend the concert. She was, however, awake when we got home. Her sleep has been all over the place for the last week and it is getting a teeny, tiny bit taxing. I want to see more of this out of her!
I will post more photos on Monday of the concert- it was a really cool venue that I hope to return to someday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Can’t wait to hear about the show. I haven’t seen Phish live yet, however back in college (circa 2000ish) I have been to no less than three Phish tailgate extravaganzas. The shows were always sold out but we went looking for scalpers and never found deals worth parting our money. So we just hung out. Definitely an interesting crowd, huh?
Oh man, you’ve got to see them live at least once. Although beyond the music, you pretty much got the feel of a show just from being in the lot beforehand! Too bad you guys don’t live nearby- we had three extra tickets I ended up giving away to friend of a friend…

Still on the Bucket list. BTW, thanks for getting Phish stuck in my head. And you have some pressure to get to that write up now: http://midwesternbite.com/stuck-in-husbands-head-phish/
Haha! Thanks for the shout-out! They actually played that song on Wednesday- most die-hard fans are offended and sit down when they play it because it’s their only “hit” and is too popular in many people’s eyes. I always thought it was catchy and it’s fun to see people get annoyed when it’s played live.
Good music is good music. I don’t care if it’s a popular song. I have some rare bootleg stuff nobody’s probably ever heard, so I don’t doubt my street cred.
Nice of all those identical hemp-wearing, dread-locked, vegan-deodorant-only individualists to conform together for their own little sit-in. I would’ve enjoyed pointing that out.

I love your sentiments about these folks! Some of the most die-hard “phans” are exactly like that! “Tolerance for all” is what they want people to think is their mantra…but they will sit in judgement of you if you don’t dress exactly like they do, eat exactly what they eat, etc.
Sorry to hear that your girl’s sleeping is all over the place. How did her sleeping go over the weekend?
Love it that you’re still attending concerts – showing single and young people married couples still have it
Still a mess…I’m not sure what’s going on but we’re working on it!
Haha, me and Pa barely have it. I was pretty worn out the next day!

Ahh! Her butt-in-the-air-face-smooshed-in-the-mattress position is so cute…I’m tempted to check on T and see how he’s sleeping! Why would they ever find that comfortable? You can tell she has a lot of hair in that picture too!
Haha, I know, what was she thinking when she got into that position? Also, I feel like it looks staged because it looks so bright in her room and she very rarely continues sleeping once we open the door. Definitely one of my favorite pictures as of late.
