Weekend In Review: 6.2 & 6.3

Alright, first of all, how is it already June?

Second, we had such a great weekend of weather!  I’m so glad because I believe it’s going to hit the low 90′s today so thankfully we got outdoors while we could.

It was a really nice, low-key weekend around here.

We got up at 5:45 on Saturday morning to beat the heat for our run and realized that the weather was so cool that we didn’t need to be out the door super early.  We got right back into bed and slept until Lula woke us up around 6:40- perfect timing!

We ran a great 5.5 miles with cool air and a rising sun- it was incredible out. Of course, Lula dozed off which messed up her nap schedule for the day but hey, at least she enjoys being in the stroller. We met family for lunch at a bar and grill- salads were enjoyed by all and we were able to view one of these which should be in a museum as far as I’m concerned!

love the quotation marks "under 18"

I seriously haven’t seen one of these since I was a kid and holy smokes…hahaha…the price!  Seven dollars for a pack of cigarettes?  I guess if it’s midnight and you’ve been hitting the sauce for awhile, seven dollars for a pack of cigs seems like a good idea.  Yikes.  Even more interesting, you can’t smoke inside the very place that you can purchase the cigarettes.

Sunday was relaxing and Lula had a pretty good day after a very short-lived morning nap.  We enjoyed some family time, took a stroll, worked in the garden, and washed the cars. The Bjorn carrier really does work wonders- much like our cat, Lula would love to be in this thing 24/7!

She played a lot on the floor and it seems like her super clingy phase is getting better- hooray!.

We have a busy week ahead of us as we will be traveling (anyone else believe that it should be spelled travelling, not traveling) this weekend.  Otherwise, I am looking forward to spending the week with my little munchkin.

Have a fantastic week!
